Call us psychic, but heat had a feeling this was going to be a tricky interview. Firstly, we had to ask about the whole John Leslie hoo ha. In 2003, Ulrika published her autobiography Honest, in which she shockingly revealed she had been raped in a hotel room in 1988. Ulrika has never revealed the identity of her attacker, but at the time, the finger was pointed at then This Morning presenter John Leslie, who Ulrika dated in the late 80s. A number of other women came forward and alleged Leslie had attacked them and he was forced to give up his job. The warning call is made to the office a few hours before our interview with Tara is about to take place. The night before, she had had her car stolen from outside her house in West London. And it wasn’t just any old car. We’re talking an £80,000 special edition series 6 (whatever that means) BMW. Tara, 33, has been up all night with the police and has not had a wink of sleep.
